Tonight I strike Up my Pen
Tonight I shall strike up my pen and a concerto shall be born
Some say the pen is mightier than sword,
Well brothers and sisters,
This pen is a weapon of mass destruction.
The scratching of this uniball across the tripes of an unsung flag shall mark the rhythm,
The rhythm of words
Words of a song that shall so be sung on this day for years to come
For tonight I strike up my pen
With a stroke of my baton I create melodies from silence, beats from darkness, rythems and rhymes sights and sounds
I
I create hope for those still lost,
Lost on the streets, lost in their minds, lost in their souls, hearts, fingers, toes
Screaming to be f

Spreading the Seeds
C.J. Pell
Spread the seeds of truth my son
Be sure to water them well
A change in weather
A drought of lies
Stead fast less hate should swell
Spread far the seeds of truth my sun
May wind not blow you a stray
Take up your tools
Please use them well
Let no man block your way
Spread wide the seeds of truth my son
Planting deep in fertile soil
Your flowers shall grow
Where none there would
In change you see your toil
